Stuffed Avocados

Ripe avocado halves filled with a bright tuna, tomato, red onion, lime, and cilantro salad. Serve chilled or immediately as a light salad or snack.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Halve the avocados lengthwise and remove the pits with a spoon. Scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl, leaving the skins intact as serving shells.

    Ingredients used: 2.0 piece Avocado

    Cookware: Chef Knife, cutting board, mixing bowl, spoon

  2. Step 2

    Add the lime juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper to the avocado. Mash with a fork until mostly smooth but still slightly chunky.

    Ingredients used: 1.0 gr Ground Black Pepper, 30.0 ml Lime Juice, 15.0 ml Olive Oil, 3.0 gr Salt

  3. Step 3

    Fold the tuna, tomato, red onion, and cilantro into the seasoned avocado until evenly combined.

    Ingredients used: 8.0 gr Cilantro, 40.0 gr Red Onion, 120.0 gr Tomato, 240.0 gr Tuna

  4. Step 4

    Divide the filling evenly among the four reserved avocado shells and serve immediately.
