Common questions

  • Why did onboarding appear again? Clean Dish loads preferences associated with the app’s anonymous identifier. If that identity or its preferences are reset, onboarding starts again.
  • Can I use Pantry without camera access? Yes. Manual ingredient entry remains available when camera access is disabled.
  • Are allergen results guaranteed? No. Clean Dish helps apply your saved exclusions, but recipes and product information can be incomplete or change. Always verify labels and preparation.
  • How do I delete my data? Open Profile and choose Delete All My Data. This permanently deletes the profile, saved preferences, activity, content, recommendation data, and associated authentication identity. You can also email support for help.
