Raspberry Oatmeal Bake

A warmly spiced baked oatmeal with raspberries, maple syrup, and a tender, sliceable center.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Heat the oven to 180°C. Coat the baking dish with the oil.

    Melt the butter in the saucepan over low heat. Pour it into the medium mixing bowl and let it cool slightly.

    Timer: 2 min (fixed)

    Ingredients used: 30.0 gr Unsalted Butter

  3. Step 3

    Whisk the oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt together in the large mixing bowl.

    Ingredients used: 8.0 gr Baking Powder, 2.0 gr Fine Salt, 3.0 gr Ground Cinnamon, 240.0 gr Oat

    Cookware: Large Mixing Bowl, whisk

  4. Step 4

    Add the milk, eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the melted butter. Whisk until evenly blended.

    Ingredients used: 2.0 piece Egg, 60.0 ml Maple Syrup, 480.0 ml Milk, 5.0 ml Vanilla Extract

  5. Step 5

    Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir until combined. Gently fold in the raspberries.

  6. Step 6

    Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Bake at 180°C until the center is set and the edges are lightly golden, 35 to 40 minutes.

    Rest the oatmeal bake for 10 minutes before cutting it into 6 portions.
