Lobster Tail with Garlic Butter
Butterflied lobster tails brushed with lemony garlic butter and broiled until tender.
Instructions
-
Step 1
Position an oven rack about 15 cm below the broiler and preheat the broiler to 240°C.
-
Step 2
Cut through the top of each lobster shell lengthwise, stopping before the tail fan. Loosen the meat, lift it above the shell while keeping it attached at the fan, pat it dry, and arrange the tails on the baking sheet.
-
Step 3
Stir the melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and black pepper together in the small bowl.
-
Step 4
Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the exposed lobster meat.
-
Step 5
Broil until the meat is opaque and its thickest part reaches 63°C, about 8–12 minutes depending on tail size.
-
Step 6
Rest the lobster tails for 2 minutes, then serve them with the garlic butter from the baking sheet spooned over the meat.
