Baked Salmon with Dill Sauce

Oven-baked salmon fillets served with a cool, creamy lemon-dill sauce.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Heat the oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Step 2

    Whisk the sour cream, dill, lemon juice, mustard, garlic, and ⅜ tsp (2 gr) of the salt until evenly combined. Keep the sauce chilled while the salmon cooks.

    Ingredients used: 2.0 gr Fine Salt, 12.0 gr Fresh Dill, 4.0 gr Garlic, 30.0 ml Lemon Juice, 15.0 ml Mustard, 180.0 ml Sour Cream

    Cookware: mixing bowl, whisk

  3. Step 3

    Place the salmon skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Coat it with the olive oil, then season with the remaining ⅝ tsp (3 gr) salt and the black pepper.

    Ingredients used: 1.0 gr Black Pepper, 3.0 gr Fine Salt, 15.0 ml Olive Oil, 4.0 piece Salmon

  4. Step 4

    Bake until the salmon flakes easily and its thickest part reaches 63°C, about 10–14 minutes.

    Timer: 12 min (fixed)

    Cookware: baking sheet, instant-read thermometer

  5. Step 5

    Rest the salmon for 3 minutes, then serve each fillet with the chilled dill sauce.

    Timer: 3 min (fixed)
