Grilled Shrimp with Cilantro Lime Sauce

Juicy grilled shrimp served with a bright blended sauce of cilantro, lime, garlic, and jalapeño.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Blend the cilantro, garlic, jalapeño, honey, and the sauce portions of the olive oil, lime juice, and salt until mostly smooth. Set the cilantro lime sauce aside.

    Ingredients used: 30.0 gr Cilantro, 8.0 gr Garlic, 15.0 gr Honey, 1.0 piece Jalapeno Pepper, 30.0 ml Lime Juice, 30.0 ml Olive Oil, 3.0 gr Salt

  2. Step 2

    Toss the shrimp in a mixing bowl with the remaining olive oil, lime juice, and salt, plus the cumin and black pepper. Marinate for 10 minutes.

    Ingredients used: 2.0 gr Ground Black Pepper, 2.0 gr Ground Cumin, 30.0 ml Lime Juice, 15.0 ml Olive Oil, 3.0 gr Salt, 600.0 gr Shrimp

  3. Step 3

    Preheat the grill over high heat.

    Thread the marinated shrimp onto metal skewers, passing each skewer through the thick and narrow ends so the shrimp lie flat.

    Grill the shrimp until lightly charred, opaque, and firm, about 2 minutes per side. Confirm the centers reach 63°C.

    Serve the grilled shrimp immediately with the cilantro lime sauce spooned over them or offered alongside.
