Baked Zucchini Fries

Zucchini sticks coated with seasoned panko and Parmesan, then baked until crisp and golden.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Heat the oven to 220°C. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Trim the zucchini and cut each one into sticks about 8 cm long and 1.5 cm thick. Pat the sticks dry.

    Place the flour in one shallow bowl and the beaten eggs in a second bowl.

  4. Step 4

    In a third shallow bowl, combine the panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

    Ingredients used: 2.0 gr Black Pepper, 3.0 gr Garlic Powder, 120.0 gr Panko Breadcrumb, 2.0 gr Paprika, 45.0 gr Parmesan Cheese, 5.0 gr Salt

  5. Step 5

    Coat each zucchini stick lightly in flour, dip it in egg, and press it into the panko mixture. Arrange the sticks in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

    Drizzle the coated zucchini evenly with the olive oil.

    Bake for 12 minutes.

  8. Step 8

    Turn the zucchini fries with tongs, then bake until the coating is crisp and golden, 8 to 10 minutes more. Serve hot.
