Crisp oven-roasted walnuts coated with brown sugar, cinnamon, and a gentle touch of cayenne.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 160°C. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Whisk the egg white and water in a large mixing bowl until loose and frothy.

    Stir the brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and cayenne pepper together in a small bowl.

    Ingredients used: 55.0 gr Brown Sugar, 0.5 gr Cayenne Pepper, 3.0 gr Fine Salt, 3.0 gr Ground Cinnamon

  4. Step 4

    Add the walnuts to the egg-white mixture and fold until evenly moistened.

    Add the prepared spice mixture and fold until the walnuts are evenly coated.

    Spread the coated walnuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake at 160°C.
