Sautéed Spinach with Garlic

Fresh spinach quickly sautéed with garlic and olive oil, then finished with lemon and black pepper.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Rinse the spinach thoroughly and spin it dry. Remove any tough stems.

    Ingredients used: 300.0 gr Spinach

    Cookware: Salad Spinner

  2. Step 2

    Warm the olive oil in the large pot over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant but not browned.

    Timer: 1 min (fixed)

    Ingredients used: 12.0 gr Garlic, 30.0 ml Olive Oil

    Cookware: large pot, wooden spoon

  3. Step 3

    Add the spinach and salt. Toss to coat, cover, and cook over medium heat until the leaves begin to collapse.

    Timer: 2 min (fixed)

  4. Step 4

    Uncover and continue cooking over medium heat, stirring, until the spinach is tender and excess liquid has evaporated.

    Timer: 2 min (fixed)

  5. Step 5

    Remove the pot from the heat. Stir in the lemon juice and black pepper, then serve immediately.
