Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Pat the pork chops dry. Season both sides with ⅝ tsp (4 gr) salt, the black pepper, and paprika.

  2. Step 2

    Heat 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil in the skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned pork chops and cook without moving them until browned underneath.

    Turn the chops and continue cooking until the centers reach 63°C.

    Transfer the pork chops to the plate and let them rest.

    Return the skillet to medium heat. Add the remaining 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil, the green beans, and the remaining ⅜ tsp (2 gr) salt; cook, stirring occasionally.

    Add the garlic and stir just until fragrant.

    Pour in the water, cover the skillet, and steam the green beans until bright and tender-crisp.

    Remove the lid and stir in the butter and lemon juice until the beans are evenly coated. Serve them with the rested pork chops.
