Peach Oatmeal

Creamy stovetop oatmeal with tender peaches, cinnamon, and a touch of maple syrup, finished with fresh diced peach.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Wash, pit, and dice the peaches, keeping the two portions separate.

  2. Step 2

    Combine the milk and water in the saucepan and bring just to a boil over medium heat.

  3. Step 3

    Stir in the rolled oats, half of the diced peaches, cinnamon, and salt. Reduce to low heat.

  4. Step 4

    Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the oats are tender and creamy.

    Timer: 6 min (fixed)

  5. Step 5

    Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the maple syrup.

  6. Step 6

    Divide the oatmeal between serving bowls and top with the remaining diced peaches.
