Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Brussels sprouts roasted until browned and tender, then finished with garlic and a crisp layer of Parmesan cheese.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Heat the oven to 220°C and place a large rimmed baking sheet inside while the oven heats.

  2. Step 2

    Trim the Brussels sprouts, cut them in half lengthwise, and toss them with the olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

    Ingredients used: 2.0 gr Black Pepper, 680.0 gr Brussels Sprout, 30.0 ml Olive Oil, 5.0 gr Salt

    Cookware: Chef Knife, cutting board, mixing bowl

  3. Step 3

    Carefully spread the seasoned sprouts on the hot baking sheet with their cut sides down. Roast at 220°C until deeply browned underneath.

    Timer: 15 min (fixed)

  4. Step 4

    Turn the sprouts, then sprinkle them evenly with the garlic powder and Parmesan. Return the sheet to the oven and roast at 220°C until the sprouts are tender and the cheese is golden.

    Timer: 10 min (fixed)

  5. Step 5

    Loosen the roasted sprouts and crisp Parmesan from the baking sheet, transfer to a serving dish, and serve hot.
