Meditanean Tuna Salad

A fresh, no-cook tuna salad with tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, olives, herbs, and a lemon–olive oil dressing.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Open and thoroughly drain the tuna. Place it in the large mixing bowl and break it into bite-size flakes.

    Ingredients used: 300.0 gr Tuna

    Cookware: can opener, fine mesh sieve, Large Mixing Bowl

  2. Step 2

    Wash and dry the tomatoes and cucumber. Halve the tomatoes, dice the cucumber, and add both to the tuna.

    Ingredients used: 250.0 gr Cherry Tomato, 200.0 gr Cucumber

    Cookware: Chef Knife, cutting board, Large Mixing Bowl

  3. Step 3

    Thinly slice the onion, halve the olives, and chop the parsley. Add them to the mixing bowl.

    Ingredients used: 15.0 gr Flat-Leaf Parsley, 80.0 gr Kalamata Olive, 80.0 gr Red Onion

  4. Step 4

    Whisk the lemon juice, olive oil, mustard, oregano, salt, and black pepper in the small bowl until combined.

    Ingredients used: 1.0 gr Black Pepper, 10.0 gr Dijon Mustard, 2.0 gr Dried Oregano, 60.0 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 45.0 ml Lemon Juice, 4.0 gr Salt

    Cookware: small bowl, whisk

  5. Step 5

    Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently until everything is evenly coated. Serve immediately or refrigerate until needed.
