Crisp baked granola with rolled oats, sliced almonds, pure maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Heat the oven to 160°C. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Combine the rolled oats, almonds, cinnamon, and salt in a large mixing bowl.

    Whisk the maple syrup, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until blended.

    Pour the maple mixture over the oat mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated.

    Spread the granola in an even, lightly compacted layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake at 160°C for 15 minutes.

    Stir the granola gently, rotate the baking sheet, and bake at 160°C until lightly golden, 12 to 15 minutes more.

    Set the baking sheet aside and let the granola cool completely without stirring, then break it into clusters.
