Keto Cheeseburger Casserole
A low-carbohydrate baked casserole with seasoned ground beef, pickles, a creamy egg filling, and melted cheddar cheese.

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190°C and set out the baking dish.

Heat the olive oil in the skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened.

Add the ground beef, ⅝ tsp (4 gr) salt, and 1 gr ground black pepper. Cook over medium heat, breaking up the meat, until browned with no pink remaining; drain excess rendered fat if needed.

Stir in the garlic and tomato paste. Cook over medium heat until fragrant and the paste darkens slightly.

Stir in the mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and dill pickle, then remove the skillet from the heat.

Spread the beef mixture evenly in the baking dish.

Whisk the eggs, heavy cream, cream cheese, remaining ⅜ tsp (2 gr) salt, and remaining 1 gr ground black pepper until evenly combined.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the beef, then cover the surface with the cheddar cheese.

Bake at 190°C until the center is set, the cheese is bubbling, and the casserole reaches at least 71°C internally.

Let the casserole rest before cutting it into 6 portions and serving.
