Italian Antipasto Skewers

Colorful skewers of mozzarella, salami, tomatoes, olives, artichokes, roasted peppers, and basil, finished with a simple red wine vinaigrette.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Wash and dry the tomatoes and basil. Drain the mozzarella and olives thoroughly.

    Timer: 5 min (fixed)

    Ingredients used: 12.0 piece Cherry Tomato, 12.0 piece Fresh Basil, 12.0 piece Green Olive, 12.0 piece Mozzarella

    Cookware: colander, cutting board

  2. Step 2

    Drain the artichoke hearts and roasted pepper. Cut them into 12 bite-size pieces and 12 strips respectively, then fold each salami slice into quarters.

    Timer: 5 min (fixed)

    Ingredients used: 120.0 gr Artichoke Heart, 100.0 gr Red Bell Pepper, 90.0 gr Salami

    Cookware: Chef Knife, cutting board

  3. Step 3

    Whisk the olive oil, red wine vinegar, oregano, and black pepper until combined.

    Timer: 2 min (fixed)

    Ingredients used: 1.0 gr Black Pepper, 1.0 gr Dried Oregano, 30.0 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 15.0 ml Red Wine Vinegar

    Cookware: mixing bowl, whisk

  4. Step 4

    Thread one piece each of folded salami, mozzarella, tomato, basil, artichoke, roasted pepper, and olive onto every skewer.

    Timer: 10 min (fixed)

    Cookware: cutting board, Twelve serving skewers

  5. Step 5

    Arrange the skewers on a platter and drizzle evenly with the prepared vinaigrette.

    Timer: 3 min (fixed)
