Grilled Swordfish with Lemon and Capers

Meaty grilled swordfish steaks finished with a bright lemon, caper, garlic, and butter sauce.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the grill on high heat for 10 minutes.

    Timer: 10 min (fixed)

    Pat the swordfish dry. Coat it with olive oil and season evenly with salt and black pepper.

    Ingredients used: 1.0 gr Black Pepper, 30.0 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 5.0 gr Salt, 680.0 gr Swordfish Steak

  3. Step 3

    Reduce the grill to medium heat. Grill the swordfish for 4–5 minutes per side, turning once, until the center reaches 63°C.

    Timer: 9 min (fixed)

  4. Step 4

    Transfer the swordfish to a clean surface and let it rest while making the sauce.

    Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant without browning.

  6. Step 6

    Stir in the lemon juice and capers. Cook gently until the sauce is hot and slightly blended.

  7. Step 7

    Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in the parsley. Spoon it over the grilled swordfish and serve immediately.
