Grilled Shrimp with Garlic and Parsley

Juicy grilled shrimp in a bright garlic, parsley, lemon, and olive oil marinade, finished with a fresh herb dressing.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the grill on high heat and clean the cooking grate.

  2. Step 2

    Whisk 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil with 3 ¾ clove (12 gr) garlic, 2 ½ tbsp (10 gr) parsley, 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice, the salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl.

    Ingredients used: 2.0 gr Black Pepper, 30.0 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 6.0 gr Fine Salt, 12.0 gr Garlic, 15.0 ml Lemon Juice, 10.0 gr Parsley, 1.0 gr Turkish Red Pepper Flakes (Pul Biber)

  3. Step 3

    Add the shrimp and toss until evenly coated. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Combine the remaining 15 ml olive oil, 1 ¼ clove (4 gr) garlic, 2 ½ tbsp (10 gr) parsley, and 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice in a small bowl.

    Ingredients used: 15.0 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 4.0 gr Garlic, 15.0 ml Lemon Juice, 10.0 gr Parsley

    Cookware: small bowl, whisk

  5. Step 5

    Lift the shrimp from the marinade and arrange them on the hot grill. Grill for 2–3 minutes per side, until opaque and the centers reach 63°C.

  6. Step 6

    Transfer the grilled shrimp to a platter, spoon the parsley dressing over them, and serve immediately.
