Garlic and Herb Shrimp

Tender shrimp sautéed with garlic, butter, thyme, parsley, lemon, and a gentle touch of red pepper.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Mince the garlic and finely chop the parsley.

    Cookware: Chef Knife, cutting board

  2. Step 2

    Pat the shrimp dry, then season with the salt and black pepper.

    Ingredients used: 1.0 gr Ground Black Pepper, 4.0 gr Salt

    Cookware: Paper towel

  3. Step 3

    Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned shrimp in a single layer and cook without moving until lightly browned underneath.

    Timer: 2 min (fixed)

    Ingredients used: 30.0 ml Olive Oil, 500.0 gr Shrimp

    Cookware: skillet, tongs

  4. Step 4

    Turn the shrimp, then add the butter, garlic, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring gently, until the shrimp are opaque and reach 63°C internally.

    Timer: 2 min (fixed)

    Ingredients used: 1.0 gr Dried Thyme, 16.0 gr Garlic, 1.0 gr Turkish Red Pepper Flakes (Pul Biber), 45.0 gr Unsalted Butter

    Cookware: skillet, tongs

  5. Step 5

    Remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the lemon juice and parsley, coat the shrimp in the pan sauce, and serve immediately.

    Ingredients used: 30.0 ml Lemon Juice, 15.0 gr Parsley
