Chocolate Pudding
A smooth, stovetop chocolate pudding thickened with cornstarch and finished with dark chocolate, butter, and vanilla.
Instructions

Step 1
Whisk the sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt together in the saucepan until evenly combined.

Gradually whisk in the milk until the mixture is smooth and no dry pockets remain.

Cook over medium heat, whisking frequently, until steaming and beginning to thicken. Continue whisking until the pudding bubbles gently, then cook for 1 minute.

Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add the dark chocolate, butter, and vanilla extract, then stir until completely melted and smooth.

Divide the pudding among four serving bowls. Cover and refrigerate until cold and set, at least 2 hours.
