Chocolate Dipped Fruit

Fresh strawberries, banana pieces, and pineapple chunks dipped in smooth semisweet chocolate and chilled until set.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Place the silicone baking mat on the baking sheet.

  2. Step 2

    Rinse the strawberries, banana skins, and pineapple exterior before cutting. Prepare the fruit as specified, then pat every piece completely dry.

    Timer: 10 min (fixed)

    Ingredients used: 2.0 piece Banana, 240.0 gr Pineapple, 12.0 piece Strawberry

    Cookware: cutting board, knife

  3. Step 3

    Bring about 3 cm of water to a gentle simmer in the saucepan over medium heat, then reduce to low heat.

    Timer: 3 min (fixed)

  4. Step 4

    Place the heatproof bowl over the saucepan without letting its base touch the water. Add the chocolate and stir until smooth, then remove the bowl from the saucepan.

    Timer: 5 min (fixed)

    Ingredients used: 255.0 gr Semisweet Chocolate

    Cookware: Heatproof Bowl, Oven mitt, saucepan, Silicone spatula

  5. Step 5

    Dip each piece of fruit halfway into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl. Transfer the dipped fruit to the prepared baking sheet.

  6. Step 6

    Refrigerate the dipped fruit until the chocolate is firm, then serve chilled.
