Apple Nachos with Almonds
Crisp apple slices arranged nacho-style with warm almond butter, toasted sliced almonds, dark chocolate, and cinnamon.
Instructions
-
Step 1
Toast the sliced almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat, stirring often, until lightly golden and fragrant. Transfer them to a plate to stop the cooking.
-
Step 2
Core and thinly slice the apples. Place them in a mixing bowl, add the lemon juice, and toss gently to coat.
-
Step 3
Place the almond butter in a microwave-safe bowl and warm it in 10-second intervals until fluid enough to drizzle, stirring after each interval.
-
Step 4
Spread the apple slices across a serving platter. Drizzle with the warm almond butter, then scatter over the toasted almonds and dark chocolate and finish with the cinnamon.
