Cajun Shrimp Skewers

Juicy shrimp coated with a smoky, garlicky Cajun seasoning and quickly cooked on skewers over high heat.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    If using bamboo skewers, immerse them in water before cooking; metal skewers need no preparation.

    Preheat the grill on high heat.

  3. Step 3

    Whisk the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, onion powder, oregano, thyme, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper together in a mixing bowl.

    Ingredients used: 0.5 gr Cayenne Pepper, 1.0 gr Dried Oregano, 1.0 gr Dried Thyme, 12.0 gr Garlic, 2.0 gr Ground Black Pepper, 30.0 ml Lemon Juice, 30.0 ml Olive Oil, 3.0 gr Onion Powder, 7.0 gr Paprika, 6.0 gr Salt

  4. Step 4

    Add the shrimp to the seasoning mixture and toss until evenly coated. Thread about 8 shrimp onto each of 4 skewers.

    Place the skewers on the hot grill and cook until the undersides are lightly charred.

    Turn the skewers with tongs and cook until the shrimp are opaque, firm, and reach 63°C internally. Serve immediately.
