Beef Tacos with Salsa

Warm corn tortillas filled with seasoned ground beef and finished with fresh tomato salsa, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Combine the tomato, onion, jalapeño pepper, cilantro, lime juice, and half of the salt in a mixing bowl. Set the salsa aside while preparing the beef.

    Ingredients used: 15.0 gr Fresh Cilantro, 1.0 piece Jalapeno Pepper, 30.0 ml Lime Juice, 100.0 gr Onion, 3.0 gr Salt, 300.0 gr Tomato

    Cookware: Chef Knife, cutting board, mixing bowl

  2. Step 2

    Heat the cooking oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it into small pieces, until browned.

    Timer: 6 min (fixed)

    Ingredients used: 15.0 ml Cooking Oil, 500.0 gr Ground Beef

    Cookware: frying pan, wooden spoon

  3. Step 3

    Add the garlic, cumin, chili powder, and remaining salt. Cook over medium heat until fragrant and the beef reaches an internal temperature of at least 71°C.

    Timer: 4 min (fixed)

    Ingredients used: 6.0 gr Chili Powder, 8.0 gr Garlic, 4.0 gr Ground Cumin, 3.0 gr Salt

    Cookware: frying pan, wooden spoon

  4. Step 4

    Transfer the cooked beef to a clean plate. Wipe out the frying pan, then warm the tortillas over medium heat until flexible, turning each once.

    Timer: 4 min (fixed)

  5. Step 5

    Divide the cooked beef among the warm tortillas. Top with lettuce, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and the prepared salsa, then serve immediately.
