Baked Trout with Garlic and Parsley

Tender trout fillets baked with a bright mixture of garlic, fresh parsley, lemon, and olive oil.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 200°C and set out a baking dish large enough to hold the trout in one layer.

  2. Step 2

    Mince the garlic and finely chop the parsley. Combine them in a small bowl with the lemon zest and juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

    Ingredients used: 1.0 gr Black Pepper, 30.0 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 12.0 gr Garlic, 1.0 piece Lemon, 15.0 gr Parsley, 3.0 gr Salt

    Cookware: Chef Knife, cutting board, Fine grater, small bowl

  3. Step 3

    Place the trout in the baking dish, skin-side down if applicable. Spread the garlic-parsley mixture evenly over the fillets.

  4. Step 4

    Bake until the trout is opaque, flakes easily, and reaches 63°C at the thickest part, about 10–14 minutes. Serve immediately.
