Baked Tilapia with Lemon and Garlic

Tender tilapia fillets baked with a simple sauce of butter, fresh lemon, garlic, and black pepper, then finished with parsley.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 200°C.

    Cut the lemon into thin slices and set them aside.

    Pat the tilapia fillets dry and arrange them in a single layer in the baking dish.

  4. Step 4

    Melt the butter in the small saucepan over low heat, then remove it from the heat.

    Timer: 2 min (fixed)

    Ingredients used: 45.0 gr Unsalted Butter

  5. Step 5

    Stir the lemon juice, garlic, salt, and black pepper into the melted butter. Spoon the sauce over the fillets and arrange the prepared lemon slices on top.

  6. Step 6

    Bake for 10–14 minutes, until the fish is opaque, flakes easily, and reaches 63°C at its thickest point.

  7. Step 7

    Scatter the parsley over the baked tilapia and serve with the lemon-butter juices from the dish.
