Baked Sea Bream With Lemon

Whole sea bream baked with lemon, garlic, thyme, olive oil, and a fresh parsley finish.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 220°C. Lightly oil-free the roasting pan and set it aside.

    Cookware: roasting pan

  2. Step 2

    Slice 1 lemon and combine the slices with the garlic and thyme to make the stuffing.

    Ingredients used: 12.0 gr Garlic, 1.0 piece Lemon, 3.0 gr Thyme

    Cookware: Chef Knife, cutting board

  3. Step 3

    Pat the sea bream dry, cut three shallow slashes into each side, and place the fish in the roasting pan. Coat with the olive oil, salt, and black pepper, then fill the cavities with the prepared lemon stuffing.

    Ingredients used: 2.0 gr Black Pepper, 9.0 gr Fine Salt, 30.0 ml Olive Oil, 2.0 piece Sea Bream

    Cookware: Chef Knife, cutting board, roasting pan

  4. Step 4

    Bake until the flesh is opaque, separates easily near the backbone, and reaches 63°C at the thickest part.

    Timer: 22 min (fixed)

    Cookware: instant-read thermometer, roasting pan

  5. Step 5

    Squeeze the remaining 1 lemon over the baked fish and scatter with the parsley. Rest briefly before serving.

    Timer: 3 min (fixed)
