Baked Salmon with Garlic and Thyme

Tender oven-baked salmon topped with a simple mixture of garlic, fresh thyme, lemon, and olive oil.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 200°C.

    Pat the salmon dry and place the fillets skin-side down in the baking dish. Season evenly with the salt and black pepper.

    Ingredients used: 1.0 gr Black Pepper, 5.0 gr Fine Salt, 680.0 gr Salmon

  3. Step 3

    Mince the garlic, strip and chop the thyme leaves, and finely zest the lemon into a small bowl. Juice the lemon into the bowl, add the olive oil, and stir to combine.

    Ingredients used: 4.0 gr Fresh Thyme, 12.0 gr Garlic, 1.0 piece Lemon, 30.0 ml Olive Oil

    Cookware: Chef Knife, cutting board, Fine grater, small bowl

  4. Step 4

    Spoon the garlic-thyme mixture evenly over the salmon. Bake for 10 to 14 minutes, until the thickest part of each fillet reaches 63°C.

    Timer: 12 min (fixed)

  5. Step 5

    Rest the salmon for 3 minutes before serving.

    Timer: 3 min (fixed)
