Baked Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Warm baked oatmeal with tender apples, cinnamon, maple syrup, and a lightly golden top.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Heat the oven to 180°C. Line a medium baking dish with baking parchment.

    Combine the rolled oats, ground cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.

    Ingredients used: 8.0 gr Baking Powder, 5.0 gr Cinnamon, 1.5 gr Fine Salt, 240.0 gr Rolled Oat

  3. Step 3

    In a second mixing bowl, whisk the milk, eggs, maple syrup, melted butter, and vanilla extract until evenly blended.

    Ingredients used: 28.0 gr Butter, 2.0 piece Egg, 60.0 ml Maple Syrup, 480.0 ml Milk, 5.0 ml Vanilla Extract

  4. Step 4

    Core and dice the apples. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture, add the apples, and fold just until evenly combined; transfer to the prepared baking dish.

  5. Step 5

    Bake at 180°C until the center is set, the edges are lightly golden, and the internal temperature reaches at least 74°C.

    Set the baking dish on a wire rack and rest the oatmeal before portioning and serving warm.
