Almond Flour Crackers

Thin, crisp baked crackers made with almond flour, egg, olive oil, and salt. Makes about 30 crackers.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Heat the oven to 160°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Step 2

    Stir the almond flour and salt together in a mixing bowl.

    Ingredients used: 200.0 gr Almond Flour, 3.0 gr Salt

  3. Step 3

    Add the egg and olive oil, then mix until a cohesive dough forms.

    Ingredients used: 1.0 piece Egg, 15.0 ml Olive Oil

  4. Step 4

    Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it into an even layer about 2–3 mm thick. Remove the top sheet and transfer the dough on the lower sheet to the baking sheet.

  5. Step 5

    Score the dough into about 30 crackers without cutting through the parchment.

  6. Step 6

    Bake until the edges begin to turn golden.

    Timer: 12 min (fixed)

  7. Step 7

    Rotate the baking sheet and continue baking until the center crackers are dry and lightly golden.

    Timer: 6 min (fixed)

  8. Step 8

    Cool the cracker sheet on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then break it along the scored lines and transfer the crackers to a cooling rack to cool completely.
