Air-Fried Apple Chips

Thin apple slices air-fried with cinnamon until dry at the edges, then cooled until crisp.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the air fryer to 150°C.

  2. Step 2

    Core the apples and cut them crosswise into even 2–3 mm slices.

    Timer: 5 min (fixed)

  3. Step 3

    Place the apple slices in the bowl, add the cinnamon, and toss gently to coat both sides.

  4. Step 4

    Arrange the seasoned slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping. Air-fry at 150°C for 8 minutes, working in batches as needed.

  5. Step 5

    Turn the slices with tongs, then air-fry at 150°C for 8–12 minutes more, checking every 2 minutes near the end. Remove each slice when lightly browned and dry at the edges.

  6. Step 6

    Transfer the chips to a wire rack in a single layer and cool completely before serving. Repeat the cooking and cooling process with any remaining seasoned slices.
