Vegetable Pizza Cauliflower Crust

A delicious pizza topped with vegetables on a cauliflower crust, a low-carb alternative.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 220°C and line the baking sheet with parchment paper.

    On the cutting board, thinly slice the bell pepper, mushroom, and red onion with the chef's knife. Put them in the mixing bowl, toss with the olive oil, then transfer the coated vegetables to the cutting board to hold.

    Ingredients used: 100.0 gr Bell Pepper, 100.0 gr Mushroom, 5.0 ml Olive Oil, 50.0 gr Red Onion

  3. Step 3

    In the mixing bowl, beat the egg with the whisk, then mix in the cooled cauliflower, 50.0 gr of mozzarella cheese, and the salt until cohesive. Transfer the mixture to the lined baking sheet and press it into an even 24 cm round crust about 1 cm thick.

  4. Step 4

    Brush the crust surface with the remaining olive oil using the pastry brush, then bake in the oven at 220°C for 22 minutes, until firm, dry on top, and lightly golden at the edges.

    Use the pastry brush to spread the tomato sauce thinly over the baked crust, then scatter the held vegetables and the remaining mozzarella cheese over it. Bake at 220°C for 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden and no wet egg remains in the crust.
