Vegan Brownies

Fudgy and rich, these brownies are made using bananas or applesauce instead of eggs, delivering a delightful chocolate experience. Perfect for satisfying chocolate lovers.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 180°C.

    Cookware: oven — preheat 180°C

  2. Step 2

    While the oven preheats, place the peeled banana in the mixing bowl and mash it with the fork until completely smooth.

    Ingredients used: 120 gr Banana

    Add the granulated sugar, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the mixing bowl, then whisk until the mixture is glossy and evenly combined.

    Ingredients used: 150 gr Granulated Sugar, 5 ml Vanilla Extract, 80 ml Vegetable Oil

  4. Step 4

    Sift the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt through the fine-mesh sieve into the mixing bowl, then fold with the rubber spatula just until no dry streaks remain.

    Ingredients used: 125 gr All-Purpose Flour, 4 gr Baking Powder, 2 gr Salt, 45 gr Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

    Cookware: fine mesh sieve, mixing bowl, rubber spatula

  5. Step 5

    Transfer the batter with the rubber spatula into one 20 cm square baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 25 minutes, until the edges are set and the center is still slightly soft with a crackled surface.

    Leave the brownies in the square baking pan for 15 minutes to cool and set; the center should become fudgy while the edges remain firm.
