Sesame Ginger Salmon

Oven-baked salmon coated with a savory-sweet soy, ginger, garlic, and sesame glaze, then finished with sesame seeds and green onion.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 200°C. Coat the baking sheet lightly with the neutral oil.

    Pat the salmon dry and arrange the fillets on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.

  3. Step 3

    Combine the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic in the saucepan. Whisk until evenly blended.

    Ingredients used: 12.0 gr Garlic, 12.0 gr Ginger, 45.0 gr Honey, 15.0 ml Rice Vinegar, 15.0 ml Sesame Oil, 60.0 ml Soy Sauce

  4. Step 4

    Cook the glaze over medium heat, whisking occasionally, until gently bubbling and slightly thickened.

    Timer: 3 min (fixed)

  5. Step 5

    Brush all of the warm glaze evenly over the salmon.

  6. Step 6

    Bake until the salmon flakes easily and reaches 63°C at the thickest part.

  7. Step 7

    Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest briefly.

    Timer: 3 min (fixed)

    Sprinkle the salmon with the sesame seeds and green onion, then serve.
