Grilled Salmon with Avocado Cream

Grilled salmon fillets served with a cool, creamy avocado, lime, yogurt, and cilantro sauce.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the grill to medium heat and clean the grates thoroughly.

  2. Step 2

    Blend the avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, garlic, cilantro, 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil, and ⅜ tsp (2 gr) salt until smooth. Transfer the avocado cream to a small bowl and refrigerate until serving.

    Ingredients used: 2.0 piece Avocado, 10.0 gr Cilantro, 4.0 gr Garlic, 30.0 ml Lime Juice, 15.0 ml Olive Oil, 120.0 gr Plain Greek Yogurt, 2.0 gr Salt

  3. Step 3

    Pat the salmon dry. Brush it with the remaining 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil, then season it with the remaining ⅝ tsp (4 gr) salt and the ground black pepper.

  4. Step 4

    Place the salmon skin-side down on the grill. Close the grill and cook without moving the fillets.

  5. Step 5

    Turn the salmon carefully and continue grilling until the thickest part reaches 63°C.

    Timer: 4 min (fixed)

    Remove the salmon from the grill and rest it briefly. Serve each fillet with avocado cream.
