Garlic Butter Mushrooms

Golden sautéed mushrooms finished with garlic butter, lemon, parsley, and black pepper.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Wipe the mushrooms clean, trim the stems, and halve any large mushrooms. Keep them dry so they brown properly.

  2. Step 2

    Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the prepared mushrooms in an even layer and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and their released liquid has evaporated.

  3. Step 3

    Reduce to medium heat, add the butter, and stir until melted and the mushrooms are evenly coated.

  4. Step 4

    Add the garlic and cook, stirring continuously, until fragrant.

  5. Step 5

    Remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the lemon juice, parsley, salt, and black pepper, then serve hot.
