Crispy Taco Burger Lavash
A thin layer of seasoned ground beef is cooked directly on whole-wheat lavash, topped with melted cheddar, a creamy cornichon sauce, greens, and tomato, then folded for serving.
Instructions
-
Step 1
Finely chop the cornichons. Mix them with the mayonnaise, mustard, yogurt, and paprika to make the sauce.
-
Step 2
Season the ground beef with the salt. Spread it in a thin, even layer over one side of the lavash, pressing it firmly to adhere and leaving a narrow border.
-
Step 3
Heat the skillet over medium heat. Place the lavash meat-side down and cook for 3–4 minutes, pressing gently with the spatula at first, until the beef is browned and releases easily.
-
Step 4
Flip the lavash, place the cheddar over the beef, and cover the skillet. Cook over medium heat for 2–3 minutes, until the lavash is crisp, the cheese has melted, and the center of the beef reaches at least 71°C.
-
Step 5
Transfer the taco burger from the skillet. Spread on the cornichon sauce, add the mixed greens and tomato, then fold and serve immediately.
