Crispy Kale Chips
Light, crisp oven-baked kale leaves seasoned simply with olive oil and salt.
Instructions

Step 1
Heat the oven to 150°C with racks in the upper and lower thirds.

Rinse the kale, spin it dry, and remove any remaining moisture from the leaves.

Place the kale in the mixing bowl. Add the olive oil and gently massage the leaves until they are coated with a very thin, even layer.

Sprinkle with the salt and toss until evenly distributed.

Divide the seasoned kale between two rimmed baking sheets and arrange it in single layers without crowding.

Bake for 10 minutes.

Swap the sheets between racks and rotate them front to back. Bake until the leaves are dry and crisp with only lightly browned edges.

Let the chips cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before serving.
