Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp
Tender shrimp in a rich garlic butter sauce with cream, Parmesan, lemon, and parsley.

Step 1
Place the shrimp in a bowl and season with ⅜ tsp (2 gr) salt and ¼ tsp (0.5 gr) ground black pepper.

Heat the olive oil and 2 tbsp (28 gr) butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the shrimp in a single layer, working in batches if necessary, for 1–2 minutes per side; transfer them to a clean plate once opaque and cooked through.

Reduce to low heat, melt the remaining 2 tbsp (28 gr) butter in the skillet, and stir in the garlic. Cook until fragrant.

Pour in the chicken stock, scrape up the browned bits, and simmer over medium heat until slightly reduced.

Reduce to low heat and stir in the heavy cream. Simmer gently until the sauce begins to thicken.

Stir in the Parmesan, remaining ⅜ tsp (2 gr) salt, and remaining ¼ tsp (0.5 gr) ground black pepper until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.

Return the cooked shrimp and any accumulated juices to the skillet. Turn gently in the sauce over low heat just until warmed through.

Remove the skillet from the heat, stir in the lemon juice and parsley, and serve immediately.
