Cilantro Lime Chicken

Boneless chicken breasts marinated with fresh lime, cilantro, garlic, and warm spices, then pan-seared until juicy and browned.

Instructions

    Whisk the lime juice, olive oil, 6 tbsp (12 gr) cilantro, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper into a marinade.

    Ingredients used: 2.5 gr Chili Powder, 12.0 gr Cilantro, 5.0 gr Fine Salt, 9.0 gr Garlic, 1.0 gr Ground Black Pepper, 2.0 gr Ground Cumin, 45.0 ml Lime Juice, 30.0 ml Olive Oil

    Cookware: mixing bowl, whisk

  2. Step 2

    Add the chicken breasts, turn them until evenly coated, cover, and refrigerate.

    Timer: 30 min (fixed)

    Heat a large skillet over medium heat.

    Lift the chicken from the marinade, let the excess drip off, and place it in the hot skillet. Cook without moving until browned underneath.

    Turn the chicken and continue cooking over medium heat until the thickest part of each breast reaches 74°C.

    Transfer the chicken to a clean serving plate, rest it, and sprinkle with the remaining 2 tbsp (4 gr) cilantro before serving.
