Crisp carrot sticks served with a smooth homemade chickpea and tahini hummus.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Peel the carrots, cut them into even sticks, and arrange them on a serving plate.

  2. Step 2

    Drain and rinse the chickpeas in a colander, shake off excess water, and transfer them to the food processor.

    Ingredients used: 240.0 gr Chickpea

  3. Step 3

    Add the tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt to the food processor. Process until the chickpeas are finely broken down.

    Ingredients used: 4.0 gr Garlic, 1.0 gr Ground Cumin, 30.0 ml Lemon Juice, 3.0 gr Salt, 60.0 gr Tahini

  4. Step 4

    With the processor running, gradually add the cold water and olive oil. Continue blending until the hummus is smooth and creamy.

    Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl and serve with the carrot sticks.
