A hearty one-pan dish of browned smoked sausage, tender cabbage, onion, mustard, and a bright splash of vinegar.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Core and thinly slice the cabbage. Slice the onion and sausage, then mince the garlic.

    Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned.

    Stir in the garlic and smoked paprika until fragrant.

    Add the cabbage, chicken broth, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the cabbage is evenly seasoned.

  6. Step 6

    Cover the skillet and cook over medium heat until the cabbage begins to soften.

    Remove the lid and continue cooking over medium heat until the cabbage is tender and excess liquid has evaporated.
