Beef Tacos with Corn Tortillas
Warm corn tortillas filled with seasoned ground beef, fresh tomato salsa, and crumbled queso fresco.
Instructions

Step 1
Combine the tomato, 50 gr onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and ⅜ tsp (2 gr) salt in a mixing bowl. Set the fresh salsa aside.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 100 gr onion and cook until softened.

Add the garlic, cumin, chili powder, oregano, and black pepper. Stir until fragrant.

Wrap the corn tortillas securely in aluminum foil and place the packet in the oven until warm and flexible.

Add the beef and the remaining ⅝ tsp (4 gr) salt to the skillet. Break the meat into small pieces and cook over medium heat until browned and its center reaches 71°C.

Remove the tortilla packet from the oven and open it carefully.

Fill the warm tortillas with the seasoned beef. Top with the fresh salsa and queso fresco, then serve immediately.
