Banana Oatmeal Cookies

Soft, chewy oatmeal cookies made with ripe bananas, brown sugar, cinnamon, and rolled oats.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

    Whisk the wheat flour, rolled oats, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt together in a mixing bowl.

  3. Step 3

    Beat the softened butter and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl until evenly blended and slightly fluffy.

    Timer: 2 min (fixed)

    Ingredients used: 150.0 gr Brown Sugar, 115.0 gr Unsalted Butter

  4. Step 4

    Beat the mashed bananas, egg, and vanilla extract into the butter mixture until combined.

    Ingredients used: 2.0 piece Banana, 1.0 piece Egg, 5.0 ml Vanilla Extract

  5. Step 5

    Fold the dry mixture into the banana mixture just until no dry patches remain.

  6. Step 6

    Scoop the dough into 18 evenly sized mounds on the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between them. Gently flatten each mound.

    Bake at 175°C until the edges are lightly browned and the centers are set.
