Baked Haddock with Garlic and Parsley

Tender haddock fillets baked beneath a buttery garlic, parsley, and breadcrumb topping with fresh lemon juice.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 200°C. Coat the baking dish with the olive oil.

    Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat, then remove it from the heat.

    Timer: 2 min (fixed)

    Combine the breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, ⅜ tsp (2 gr) of the salt, and the black pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir in the melted butter until evenly moistened.

    Ingredients used: 1.0 gr Black Pepper, 50.0 gr Breadcrumb, 2.0 gr Fine Salt, 9.0 gr Garlic, 30.0 ml Lemon Juice, 15.0 gr Parsley

  4. Step 4

    Pat the haddock dry and arrange the fillets in the prepared baking dish. Season with the remaining ⅜ tsp (2 gr) of salt, then spread the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the fish.

    Bake at 200°C for 12 minutes.

    Check the thickest fillet; if necessary, bake for up to 3 minutes more, until the flesh is opaque, flakes easily, and reaches 63°C internally.
