Yogurt Cake with Honey

A simple Greek-style cake with a tender crumb and a light tang from yogurt. It is easygoing, mildly sweet, and nice for dessert or afternoon tea.

    Sift the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt through the flour sifter into the mixing bowl, then use the rubber spatula to fold just until no dry flour remains.

  4. Step 4

    Transfer the batter into one 23 cm cake pan and smooth the surface with the rubber spatula.

    Bake the cake pan in the oven at 175 C for 40 minutes, until the top is lightly golden and the center is fully set.
