Turkish Oat Flatbread
Small Turkish-inspired oat flatbreads made from a smooth three-ingredient batter and cooked in a dry skillet until tender and lightly browned.
Instructions
-
Step 1
Blend the oats, water, and salt until the batter is smooth and pourable, about 1 minute.
-
Step 2
Let the batter rest in the blender jar so the ground oats can hydrate and slightly thicken.
-
Step 3
Preheat the dry nonstick skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes.
-
Step 4
Pour the batter into approximately ten 8 cm rounds, working in batches. Cook each batch for 2–3 minutes on the first side, then flip and cook for 1–2 minutes until both sides are lightly browned and the centers are set.
-
Step 5
Transfer the cooked flatbreads to a plate and serve warm.
