Turkey and Spinach Stuffed Peppers

Bell peppers stuffed with seasoned turkey and spinach, baked to create a hearty and protein-rich main dish.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 190 C.

    Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds and membranes to hollow them out.

    Ingredients used: 2.0 piece Bell Pepper

    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until softened and fragrant.

    Timer: 5 min (fixed)

    Cookware: skillet — medium heat

  4. Step 4

    Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until no longer pink and cooked through.

    Timer: 8 min (fixed)

    Ingredients used: 250.0 gr Ground Turkey

  5. Step 5

    Add chopped spinach, tomato sauce, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning to the skillet and cook until spinach wilts and mixture thickens slightly.

    Timer: 5 min (fixed)

    Ingredients used: 0.5 tsp Black Pepper, 1.0 tsp Italian Seasoning, 1.0 tsp Salt, 100.0 gr Spinach, 100.0 ml Tomato Sauce

  6. Step 6

    Fill each hollowed bell pepper with the turkey and spinach mixture evenly.

  7. Step 7

    Place the stuffed peppers upright in a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven until peppers are tender and filling is hot, about 20 minutes.
