Tomato Basil Pasta

A simple yet delicious pasta dish tossed with fresh tomatoes, basil, and olive oil. It's a classic Italian meal that’s quick to make and satisfying.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Dice the tomato on the cutting board with the chef's knife. Set the diced tomato aside on the cutting board.

    Bring water to a boil in the large pot, then add 4.0 gr of salt.

    Add the pasta to the boiling salted water and cook, stirring with the mixing spoon, until al dente according to the package texture, with a slight firmness at the center.

  4. Step 4

    Drain the pasta thoroughly in the colander, then return it to the large pot.

  5. Step 5

    Add the diced tomato and olive oil to the hot drained pasta in the large pot, then toss with the mixing spoon until evenly coated and glossy.

  6. Step 6

    Off the heat, add the basil and the remaining 1.0 gr of salt, then toss gently until the basil is distributed and the dish is seasoned.
