Radish Chips

Thin radish slices baked with olive oil and simple seasonings until lightly browned and crisp.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 160°C and line two rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. Step 2

    Wash and thoroughly dry the radishes. Trim them and cut into uniformly thin slices, about 2 mm thick.

    Ingredients used: 500.0 gr Radish

    Cookware: cutting board, Mandoline slicer

  3. Step 3

    Place the radish slices in the mixing bowl. Add the olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper, then toss until evenly coated.

    Ingredients used: 1.5 gr Garlic Powder, 1.0 gr Ground Black Pepper, 15.0 ml Olive Oil, 3.0 gr Salt

  4. Step 4

    Arrange the seasoned slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheets without overlapping.

  5. Step 5

    Bake for 20 minutes, then rotate the baking sheets and turn the slices over.

    Timer: 20 min (fixed)

  6. Step 6

    Continue baking until the slices are dry, lightly browned, and crisp at the edges, removing any finished chips before the rest if necessary.

  7. Step 7

    Let the chips cool on the baking sheets; they will become crisper as they cool. Serve once cooled.
